VANITY FAIR: July 2007

AFRICA

Act

10 million children will die next year due to extreme poverty.
Almost half of them will be on the continent of Africa.

The July issue of Vanity Fair was guest edited by Bono.
It is a special issue focused on Africa from poverty to genographic to culture and beauty.

If you are bored, which is most likely since you are reading this from this blog, then it is time to do something.

Read.
Sponsor a child through World Vision.
Go out and buy (Red) products.
Better yet, go to Africa.
Do anything but just sit there.

It's about time to do something with the luxuries most of us have.
And we certainly have lots of time.
It's time to give something back to our past, now, and the future.

Land of Milk and Honey

All I ever wanted was to get to this place.
Can't I ever get a break?
It's so hot in the desert.
There is no sun, only open sky.

TERROR TERROR TERROR

When the darkness comes
that's all I will see.
Will anyone take me to this place?
